I can see why you would think they look like red blood cells, but I'm pretty sure they're dodge balls.

Ditto the red blood cells. It especially gives that impression when the background is stationary while you scroll down. Sort of like it's flowing.
The photos are great!
i have to agree...definitely thought of red blood cells...but maybe that's where the inspiration for dodge balls came from.
the spherical shapes in the background remind me of mold spores viewed at a microscopic level. :)
...however, the baby girl is much cuter than the mold spores!
Alethea looked at your blog today and pointed to the spheres in question and said "ba" (which is 'ball'), so I guess that answers that question.
