Hair cuts for all

Notice how studiously I am ignoring the screaming? Yes, that is a vintage 1980 Mickey beach towel in the background.
It's so itchy! Next time, no hoodies during haircuts. They get in the way.

Lincoln thinks the buzzer is like a little massage for his head

Here we are, getting ready to start

Okay, so our 4 year old hates his haircuts. It itches, he screams, kicks and cries.

But, I figured it out. Instead of trying to wrap a towel or something over his shoulders, I use Glad Press and Seal. One long piece across the back and shoulders and one long piece across the front, overlapping at the shoulders. It seals against the shirt and skin, no hair gets down it, and it peels right off without pulling. No more itchy hair cuts.

Kim - that is genius! I used to cut their hair in the bathtub (with scissors, not the electric shaver), but now we have a tub that has a different seal, so I can't catch all the hair. We do haircuts on the deck in the summer. Or in front of the t.v. in the winter with a big beach towel on the floor.

Yes, outside in the summer is best.

I used to cut my girls' hair, but they finally got to the age where crooked bangs were no longer cute. I took three of them to Great Clips last night and even with coupons spent close to $30! I'm thinking a degree in cosmetology might come in very handy.

P.S. Can I have Lincoln? what a doll!
