WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!

I can't remember passwords and sign ins. And I have a lot of them.

If I write them down, I either can't find where I wrote them or else I can't identify them because they were not labeled properly.

After calling one bank multiple times in order to log on, I finally have it firmly in my memory.

But my work log in and my other bank? Everytime, I have to call.

Maybe I should just resolve to log into every account, every day until I know them all...

aargh...

Or go biometric ...

that is kind of funny, Peter. I have a bio (fingerprint) id at work for the med machine. It is also ridiculous. I usually have to try like 5 times to get it to read, especially in the winter. How annoying.

I don't have trouble at work because I use that everyday (although we have to change the password every six months, so I write it down and keep it in my planner for a short time). I have a file in my word processor at home with logins and passwords that I don't use as often. The file is titled one of the passwords that I don't have trouble remembering.

I just use the same one for everything. And if I am given one, I call and see if I can change it to mine or to a slight variation of it(which can cause me some trouble.)But you knew that.

I am in the one-for-all category for most of the non-important things like facebook, google, scrapbooking, Betty Crocker, Kraft Foods, photo sites, well you get the idea. But for the sensitive information I use a system that involves the company name and the reason I use that particular account, and the value of importance to me…It works for the most part…but I have called or emailed to get a password or two, myself.
