This evening at 6:55 we welcomed Everyn Laura officially to the family! In brief, we came in at 9:30 this morning to get the party started, and after some induction and some pushing, there she was tonight. None of that to take away from what Julie did, but Julie will tell you more about it at some point I'm sure. I'm just the ghost writer.
She came in with the following vitals:
Dec 26, 2011
7 lbs 15 oz
20.8 inches
We are thankful to God for a straightforward delivery and a mom and baby that are doing well. Julie is nauseous and tired, but tear free, and Everyn is a trooper and has taken to eating right away :)
A mighty
cheer went up from the boys when they heard they had another little sister.

Congratulations! We've been praying for you today and checking your blog and Facebook frequently. Abby even requested that we check one more time before she went to bed. We're so glad everything went well! Oh, and I love the name. :-)

We're glad she's here! And I love the name. It's really pretty!
We told Alethea last night, "Berean has a new sister. Her name is Everyn."
Alethea's response (in a doubtful voice): "I don't know about that."
I'll have to show Alethea Everyn's picture when she wakes up from her nap just to prove it to her.
Little girls are wonderful, so happy you have a second.. the boys will love protecting another sister!
She is even more beautiful in person! And it was a mighty cheer that went up!
