Christmas Card Photo

This was one of the 100 or so candidate Christmas cards shots I took.  It's a shotgun approach.  One of them has to hit, right?  All the stars align in that one instant and everyone is looking at the same point in space, with their eyes open, and their hands in socially acceptable places, and smiles on their little faces.

Not happening so much.  But really, this is exactly what they actually look like, a sort of "Reality Christmas Card" if you will.

[Julie had to work, is now returning home, somewhere, and muttering about how cold it is.  This post was ghost written by Noah, from Julie's perspective.]

love it...but this is why I said take a picture by the car...then they are in hats, scarves, coats and you can't see if they are looking in the right direction, etc :)

I know! I only have two kids and I took 150 pictures to get the three shots on our card this year. I like the "reality" shot though. That said, if you have a couple pics with the same background and B & E are smiling in them, I can photoshop merge them together really easily to get a group shot with everyone looking. Just let me know! :-)

I have learnt a lot from this blog and especially the cover photo. A picture is worth 1000 words
