Lincoln turned 6 on May 22nd.
He is very proud to be getting older.
He likes to spike up his hair,
He likes Calvin and Hobbes,
He wants to keep up.
He is a fast runner,
A determined brother,
A good helper for his sisters.
Lincoln adds a lot to our family and we love him very much!
(the birthday boy chose Calvin and Hobbes for his cake decor. We had pizza, fruit and chips for the party food. Grandpas, Grandmas, Aunts, Uncles and cousins came)
If I can finish all my day's work in a day, then I am not dreaming big enough.

Where Has the Month Gone?
I go onto my computer and I am so inundated with lego stop motion shots from my camera (but not from my own clicks), that I feel too overwhelmed to sort and edit photos.
This picture was taken earlier this spring. We had snow so late, and now so much rain and clouds- honestly, I can not think of anything cheerful to write about. My Momma always said, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
It has been a hard spring for me, for a variety of reasons. The weather has gotten me down, although it shouldn't. My run feels stagnant. I am overwelmed by the amount of yard work and house work I have. I am fighting clutter. My outside the home job has had some stress added to it, which is hard on my mental energy reserve. Noah has a stress injury to his leg, and is helping coach Little League.
And the endless demands of Momhood and little people have taken their toll.
We have moved on to summer, however, so schooling has eased up, although I still want to keep up on some academics this summer. My garden is planted and yard work is well underway. We have had a couple of summer adventures, with more to come.
And the sun will shine someday.
It has to, right?
P.S. I have worked up enough energy to make up a weekend list- blogging is on it. I have pictures from adventures, Lincoln's birthday and a race that Deke and I did- hoping to get some pictures up this weekend!
